These general terms and conditions apply to the use of the web-based software solution "Klaro" at klaro.legal, operated by Martin Schenk S.L., C/ Claudio Coello 14, 5g, 28001 Madrid, Spain.
§ 2 Subject Matter
The provider makes available to the user a web-based platform through which legal documents can be translated into simple everyday language using artificial intelligence (AI).
§ 3 Not a Legal Service - Important Notice
THIS SERVICE DOES NOT CONSTITUTE LEGAL ADVICE OR LEGAL SERVICES.
Plain language translations do not constitute legal advice. No legal analysis of the specific case is performed. Results serve only as guidance for better understanding. For legally binding advice, consult a licensed attorney.
§ 4 Excluded Documents - Art. 10 GDPR
It is not permitted to upload documents containing personal data relating to criminal convictions or offenses (Art. 10 GDPR). This includes:
- • Criminal judgments and court orders in criminal matters
- • Criminal prosecution or defense briefs
- • Police or investigation files
- • Any document mentioning criminal records
Processing of such data is only permitted under the supervision of public authorities. By using Klaro, the user confirms that the uploaded document does not contain data of this nature.
§ 5 Liability
The provider does not guarantee the legal accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of AI-generated translations. AI may make errors or overlook important aspects.
§ 6 Data Protection

- ✅ No storage: Documents are deleted after analysis
- ✅ No registration: No email or personal data required
§ 7 Applicable Law
Spanish law applies. The place of jurisdiction for disputes with businesses is Madrid, Spain.
